BlackBerry Torch 2

Research In Motion (RIM) has announce will be release next generation of the BlackBerry Torc, the BlackBerry Torch 2. The Torch 2 smartphone is looks very similar to the original BlackBerry Torch smartphone and expected will be launch in Q3 2011 at AT&T network in the US).


BlackBerry Torch two RIM smartphone is powered by 1.2 GHz processor with 3D Graphics hardware accelerator, 512 MB RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, 3.2-inch capacitive VGA touch screen with resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, 5 megapixel camera with flash, Auto focus, Image stabilizer and Geo tagging, Full QWERTY keyboard with Optical mouse / Touch-Pad, 1300 mAh battery and running on BlackBerry OS 6.1 with supports OpenGL-ES 2.0, geo-fencing location APIs and supports Magnetometer and Digital compass APIs.

The Torch 2 RIM smartphone also features Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11b WiFi b/g/n, GPS, microUSB 2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and support Near Field Communication (NFC). BlackBerry Torch 2 will measure 14.6 mm thick and works in Quad-band 850, 900, 1800, 1900 GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Tri-band 850, 1900, 2100 UMTS/HSPA 14.4Mbps networks.
